From the plant. For the plant. Bamboo extract.

Our love for plants is deeply rooted, and we appreciate the generous gifts nature provides us with. We look to nature as our source of inspiration and continually discover new ways to use natural materials in innovative ways. Bamboo is one such raw material, brimming with natural power while being sustainable, environmentally friendly, and climate-friendly.

Bamboo is unique

Bamboo offers excellent possibilities

It effortlessly replaces the source of charcoal production, from destructively logged primeval forests, with a sustainable raw material. Bamboo grows wild in nature (not plantations) and in large quantities in Ghana. It takes 3-5 years to be harvested. Bamboo is very strong, resilient, and adaptable, so no harmful pesticides or fertilizers need to be used.

For our production of bamboo extract, also known as bamboo distillate, the mature bamboo stalks are harvested individually, so there is no complete clear-cutting. Unlike conventional trees, the entire plant does not die when bamboo is felled.

Climate-friendly to the planet

Bamboo absorbs 35% more carbon dioxide...

...than any tree, thereby producing more oxygen. At the same time, bamboo improves the structure and health of the soil in which it grows because its rhizome/root system attracts a significant amount of moisture and maintains healthy microbial growth.

For these reasons, bamboo is a very sustainable and environmentally friendly raw material.
